Here's how Install the rear boot spring on a frigidaire front load washer. Using clamps is much easier to hold the spring than the wedges frigidaire includes in the box.

Bravo. Now if I could only get my Wife to do service calls.

She's pretty amazing. Takes all the phones calls works the parts counter and works on the front load washer we get in the shop. She's pretty good at it too. She was actually the first one to do this clamp trick in our shop. That's why I thought she should demonstrate.

Elegantly done!  She's a natural, by God, a natural!  Love the Ride of the Valkyrie soundtrack, too.  :-)

Now if you can just get her to fix your service vans, she'd be a winn.... heck, she's already a winner! Great job.

....well, that seems to work a bit better than not one but two seasoned techs, at the same time, over 45 mins of struggling........  This nice trick has shamed me.

I removed the spring on the Lg pliers and actually bent the arms closer together with a vise. I will video my next LG boot replacement.
