    Yeah, getting those lower clips to line up and engage while keeping the drum in place can be fun if you've never done it before. Once you do it a couple hundred more times it gets easier. !! Glad you got it going. Good for another 3000 miles!

    Hi Brian. Just wanted to give an update. I replaced the belt (it had already snapped) and the dryer is working as it should. Very simple procedure putting in the new belt. Glad that's all it was. I actually had more trouble putting the front panel back in those little hooks and aligning the drum to the door at the same time. Thanks again for all the help! Truly appreciated! ps. And yes, I didn't forget to clean up inside the dryer.

    @DarkHorse96 Don't try it - you will never get them back together correctly. After you get the new one mounted by making a mounting bracket like I suggested and you know all is working OK - then try to take the old t-stat apart and see what you end up with.

    I know I’m late to this party, but just late night scrolling and came across this topic and wow! Has a service bulletin been released about this? Our local supplier here says the boards for these is the number two selling part in their warehouse, I’ve replaced two boards in the last two weeks on two different machines, now the gears are turning in my head because they were only four year old machines with very strange behavior. Haven’t heard back from either customer, only time will tell…
