The Citizen's Militia

The Colonists were armed with the same weaponry as the British government soldiers. If the British military used AR-15's, AK-47's, or M-16's back then, Colonists would have had them, too. The whole point of the Second Amendment is to physically stop and overthrow a government that has become power-drunk and abusive.
