      [Webinar] Appliantology Workshop   11/09/2017

Information is the name of the game in the appliance repair trade today. Appliantology is a powerful information tool for the professional appliance repair technician. But just like with any of the more capable tools in your tool bag, many of the more powerful features are hidden from you unless you "read the manual." Ugh! Who wants to do that? Well, this is one time when you don't have to! In this webinar, Team Samurai will personally walk you through the site and show you many of the useful and powerful features that even long-time users probably never knew existed.

  4. +1 to bad ignitor use a round on like this: https://www.searspartsdirect.com/part-number/WB13K0001/0022/363.html?modelNumber=3627132190&categoryName=Range (gas)&brandName=KENMORE
  5. Replace Ignitor then you'll likely be good to go. turn off gas and power first!
  6. Always I seem to expect more of a problem than it actually is, while not in my comfort zone diagnosing a non working gas oven, family's hoping to be ready for Thanksgiving day. Feeling like they depend on me now. No amp draw from ignitor, wires both wires white shouldn't make any difference right ? no continuity on ignitor (one lead off), the other badly frayed at terminal, replaced the crimp on quick connector, still no amp draw, tested continuity completely out of the circuit, still nothing. However 120 vac at the ignitor. Diagnosing one problem at at time, this sounds correct to me, also how to diagnosis temp thermostat in oven just in case. thks all. Expect the Unexpected
  7. Service matters shows this one to be the correct tech sheet for that model number.
  8. Sounds like timer motor quit. Part number: 131905500
  9. Ken more 110 washer noise during spin

When you replace the transmission, make sure your clutch is still good ,& you will most always need to replace the drive coupling. Very good machines, it fixed will last longer than a new one !
  10. Contact the rebuilders of the board, they can often help you.
  11. There are some used transmissions for sale on eBay and some transmissions on amazon which say “refurbished”. I’m not sure what kind of pig in a poke you’re getting there.
  12. I doubt the neutral drain kit will solve your issues. I don’t know if you can buy other internal parts for the transmission. Your options at this point are to run it until it fails or buy a new transmission.
  13. No service flash, have seen it before. After multiple attempts by previous technicians, Tech Assist Center advised "replace the door" WR78X12819
  14. MEDC700VW0 tech sheet needed. Shows Part# W10151000 Thanks!!!

  21. Unfortunately, we can't find any manuals for that model number -- this happens sometimes with Kenmore model numbers. If anyone else can find the manual that applies to this model, please post it here.
  22. Thanks-wasn't' sure if that one was a fit for my model!
  23. service manual

Hello, I am working on a double oven and looking for service manual. Model # FPET3077RFA Serial # AF63203678 Can you email me the manual please. Thank you. Ria
  24. Hello any help would be much appreciated of model. LFX31925ST/00 complaint was was not making enough ice checked freezer cooling properly set at -4 product temperature right around there. Checked the blower appears to be working when I open refrigerator door and hold switch I can feel good airflow coming from the freezer through the duct. Tested the actual icemaker appears to function and harvest properly. Door appears to seal well no air leak through icemaker door chute. There is not much ice in the dispenser and what is there appears to be wet removed compartment sensor 7.3 k ohms in cup of ice watsr 3.3 at room temperature approx 70f the he only thing I can think is that the sensor isn't calling for cold air log enough before it shuts off the blower, but I don't know the resistance values of the sensor.
