      [Webinar] Appliantology Workshop   11/09/2017

Information is the name of the game in the appliance repair trade today. Appliantology is a powerful information tool for the professional appliance repair technician. But just like with any of the more capable tools in your tool bag, many of the more powerful features are hidden from you unless you "read the manual." Ugh! Who wants to do that? Well, this is one time when you don't have to! In this webinar, Team Samurai will personally walk you through the site and show you many of the useful and powerful features that even long-time users probably never knew existed.

  6. Unfortunately, we can't find any manuals for that model number -- this happens sometimes with Kenmore model numbers. If anyone else can find the manual that applies to this model, please post it here.

Hello, I am working on a double oven and looking for service manual. Model # FPET3077RFA Serial # AF63203678 Can you email me the manual please. Thank you. Ria
  10. Hello any help would be much appreciated of model. LFX31925ST/00 complaint was was not making enough ice checked freezer cooling properly set at -4 product temperature right around there. Checked the blower appears to be working when I open refrigerator door and hold switch I can feel good airflow coming from the freezer through the duct. Tested the actual icemaker appears to function and harvest properly. Door appears to seal well no air leak through icemaker door chute. There is not much ice in the dispenser and what is there appears to be wet removed compartment sensor 7.3 k ohms in cup of ice watsr 3.3 at room temperature approx 70f the he only thing I can think is that the sensor isn't calling for cold air log enough before it shuts off the blower, but I don't know the resistance values of the sensor.

  12. Hey guys happy friday I got a question if anyone has ran into this, one of my guys was out yesterday on a profile fridge, it had a shorted icemaker heater so we replaced the icemaker however the fill line for the fill cup of the icemkaer (middle of the icemaker) is too short, its barely a nipple sticking out and it leaks out before the icemaker cup thus freezing up the auger motor, does anyone have a service flash about this? ran into this and if so whats the solution?

  14. I'm near finished this Kitchen aid Built In Refrigerator. Having the Main Control Board Rebuilt and solving 80% and after checking every connection, has left me with No Operation and a In-operable Diagnostic. The Diagnostic access is very intermittent and most of the time displays a 22 on the RC side. It will allow me to change sequence but holds this 22 in the screen. Strangely enough I can at times access the diagnostics and operate every individual component Including the Inverter compressor but after I Leave the test, and Go to run, No Operation. The 22 will come back of course. I am suspecting that this static interface is bad, but Have to be sure. Can you possibly find out what this 22 means, because it is not mentioned anywhere in the units paperwork. I am missing a command here, but with the cost of this Control Box, (Interface) I would like to be sure
  15. Mission accomplished! btw, there were no screws to remove other than the two sheet metal screws that hold the handle to the door (accessed after removing the choke cover). A flat blade screwdriver and a little patience is all it took to pry off the cover. Hope this helps someone with their future DIY repair. ale
  16. I was able to remove the door just by lifting it off the hinges (D'oH!!). Now I just need to figure out how to gently pry away the choke cover...
  17. Greetings most honorable masters, The door handle of my microwave broke. I found this link to make the repair and ordered the replacement handle from RepairClinic. For the life of me, I can not figure out how to remove the door. The instructions below read, "Remove the 4 (2 on top & 2 on bottom) 5/16" head screws on door hinges and #2 phillips head screw on top. Door will pull away from unit with the hinges attached to the door." Can someone point me to the part #'s in the schematic for these screws? Many thanks!
  18. So, as to the transmission repair, could you go so far as to say whether or not the "Neutral Drain Kit 388253" will solve this?

Confirm you are receiving 220vac to unit. Repeat the test at the main board to rule out wiring. If still not reading proper voltage out of main board replace main control. Part number: DE92-03045A
  20. Have a BOSCH Vision 500 Natural Gas Dryer. Dryer would not heat and could smell gas after trying to start. Dryer is approx 4-5 years old, but looks like new inside. Dryer tumbles fine and air dries, but burner will not ignite. Belt sensor is OK. Vent is clean and all lint has been removed from dryer and vent pipe. Wiring connectors are all fully seated and clean. Before I had time to take the dryer apart and attempt to diagnose the problem, I simply ordered a new igniter in hopes that that was the issue. Replaced igniter (Bosch #00491648) last night, but that was not the problem. Igniter glows red hot for perhaps 15-20 seconds, and then shuts off. Does not appear that gas burner even attempts to ignite. After I shut off dryer, I can smell gas. According to literature, it appears the Flame Sensor or the Gas Valve Coils may be at fault. Any thoughts on which one is at fault or how to check operation so I know what to order. Thank you in advance for your advice.

High limit switch has continuity. There seems to be no power at either heating element. Cook top works fine, its only the oven setting that are not working. There is a clicking sound coming from the main control board. You will hear 2 clicks very close together. While holding a voltage tester across this connection the voltage will spike to about 60 volts then back to 0. Less than a second spike. My assumption is to replace the main control board. Can anyone confirm this? Thanks
