      This workshop is also a great time for any students at Master Samurai Tech to bring any and all questions about the coursework. We're happy to walk through any concepts you're having trouble with. Think of it like office hours with your teachers. 
      If you have a specific appliance problem you'd like us to talk about, post it here! We need a problem statement and a PDF of the tech sheet or schematic so we can all see it on screen share. If you have a PDF that isn't already in the File library here at Appliantology, send it to us by attaching it to the contact form.

    We're going to be looking at the tech sheet for a Frigidaire dishwasher and asking specific questions. Problem statement: not drying. Try to answer these questions beforehand and we'll go through them during the Dojo. What is our load of interest (LOI)? How does our LOI get its power supply? What two electrical measurements will we make to determine the status of the LOI circuit? What electrical specifications for our LOI will we use to evaluate our electrical measurements?     12001541 is the part you need , there are two per dryer , repair clinic has most videos but be careful cause there are several designs of maytag dryers ,look up a video using your model number in the search

    My Kenmore 11028922790 has 2 issues and they show up differently depending on which wash type/temperature combination is set. #1 On a hot/regular load, it agitates normally, then there's a pause for a minute or two, then neutral drain, but it stays in neutral through the whole spin. I can force it to spin after draining by pushing the stop knob and pulling it out again. I understand this introduces the pause needed to disengage neutral drain and start spin. It does this for both the wash and the rinse cycles. My understanding is this is likely a timer issue because it's not pausing. #2 On a cold/hang dry load, it agitates normally, then there's a pause for a minute or two, then during drain it starts to spin immediately with a full tub. It does this for both the wash and the rinse cycles. My understanding is this is likely a neutral drain issue and I need to replace that. What I don't understand is why would the neutral drain work in scenario #1 but not in #2? Doesn't #1 prove that the neutral drain is functioning? Thanks for any assistance.
