  1. I got a Evieun brand countertop dishwasher from market today for $40. It's about 1 year old. Within about 2 mins, it pops an Error code E7, then shuts down. I checked the pump, and it's cleared and not frozen up. Any tips would be appreciated. I can't even find a owner manual.
  2. Hi all, I am not sure what to do about this, but am hoping someone here can offer some direction. We have recently (and finally) gotten a dishwasher, which was gifted to us by a friend (it had been sitting in their garage unused.) It is a Bosch "Serie 4" 46db model number SMS46GW01A/01. There isn't space in any of our small kitchen to put it, so we put it next to the kitchen bench - we had a plumber come and drill some holes, and attach some "extension" hoses to the water intake and outtake to the supplied ones. The dishwasher worked great for two weeks, and now has developed an issue. It's a BOSCH "Serie 4" 46db, with the model number SMS46GW01A/01. While working initially, it now seems to run for a short while (10 minutes?) on any of the washing programs, and then stop with the "Check Water" error lit. We've cleaned all the filters, but it looks like it is obtaining water (at least for a while) as the bottom of the dishwasher is full of water when the program stops. Draining also seems to work, as if I start another program, it will drain it all out. Our guess - Is this likely low water pressure due to the length of the hose, that may have been borderline when it worked and now has dipped for some reason? Perhaps it only needs low pressure in the first phase, but demands more in the later one? Or perhaps some sort of blockage in the water intake or the wastewater pump?. Should we: 1) call a plumber 2) call a bosch technician 3) is there something we can do ourselves? Thanks in advance. Hilary and Richard.
  3. Washing machine just recently started reporting E:12 and won't complete a wash cycle on Cold. The laundry soap cup drawer wouldn't wash the detergent away. Setting the machine to Warm or Hot will fill the tub, but the rinse cycle will error out with E:12. The paper guide under the machine cover says the following for Er:12: Fault/Fault description Remarks, possible cause Water inlet time exceeded No water within 6min, Damaged valve, Wire harness, Blocked hose Results - check water supply - check valve - check hose Test program P:09 -> Pressure switch P:13 -> Valves There is a section on entering test mode. I followed it and was able to put it into test mode, and scroll through the errors too. The E:12 appears with C:003 which indicates this is the count of the error. Also the error d:06 appears 1 time, which indicates NTC-relay failure, but since that only occurred once the thermistor probably encountered a condition, as also there was a dr:11 error 1 time, which indicates Voltage too low, due to a possible weak power supply and check line voltage. The other important area was entering the test mode and to run the Test Program. I went ahead to test the P:09 and P:13, but I didn't know what the message returned after the test it wasn't on this single troubleshooting sheet. For P:09 the test ran and showed 63, then at the end of the test, it showed 88. For test P:13, showed 63, 88, then finally 177. In any case, it seems point to a faulty cold fill valve, since I tested the water flow at the valve inlet and it has plenty of pressure and the water flows rapidly. We don't have well water, we have city water, and a water softener since we have higher TDS mineral content in our water. I checked the inlet screen, it is clear of any debris and doesn't appear to be clogged there. Thanks for any help, I hope someone else can learn from my experience too.
  4. I have a Samsung electric range FE710DRS/XAA with an error code E-0C Does anyone have a service manual that would tell what this E-0C error code means? (It was in error code memory 5 times.) The oven will come up to correct temp when first started, but then after reaching temp, it will not hold this temp. If oven (while still hot) is shut off and then turned back on and set to the same temp, it will show the correct lower temp (because it has fallen) and run temp back up to correct set temp. The only problem so far that I can find is the one bake element terminal is showing a poor electrical connection (like it is getting hot.) The wire by the terminal is discolored and the wire inside the terminal is also discolored. The terminal on the bake element is 1/4" spade. What is the best way to fix terminal on wire harness? Thank you for any help.
  5. My oven will not turn on. There are blue blinking lights that indicate the error code. The left light which says oven blinks twice. Then the right light which says heating blinks once. Does anyone know what error code this is so I can order a part.

  8. hello to all those with a frigidaire dishwasher showing the error code i30 and the drain pump continuously running..... i think i have a (at least temporary) solution!!! (bottom of post) apparently this is a systemic problem with a poorly designed pressure switch that get clogged with food and grease causing the above symptoms. the long term fix would be to get the updated sensor= 5304504077 Pressure Sensor , but for now...... background info: put dishes in washer without rinsing them first. some had bits of salad still on them. ran a normal cycle, emptied dishes. half hour later the drain pump just starts running, error code i30 displayed, sump is empty, door is open...?? so i turned off the breaker to the washer. SOLUTION 1) put two scoops of "BIO CLEAN" with a quart of water into the dishwasher ( https://www.gonzocart.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=290&language=en&currency=USD ), 2) used a zip tie to poke around the pressure sensor opening to loosen any food particles. you need a flexible thingy to reach into the opening of the sensor from the sump. 3) waited 24 hours 4) turned on the breaker....drain pump does stays off, no error code, operating panel displays normally. 5) ran the rinse cycle. the contents of the dishwasher backs up into the kitchen sink showing both the BIO CLEAN stuff and bits of salad. ran the disposal to clear, cycle finishes normally! drain pump does not later turn on by itself. SUCCESS so, guess i will have to preclean the plates and occasionally use the bio clean just in case.
  9. hello i have a frigidaire professional dishwasher ( http://www.frigidaire.com/Owner-Center/Product-Support--Manuals/?productCode=FPID2497RF) problem=the drain pump runs continuously, even with the door open and the dishwasher sump empty. background, the dishwasher finished a cycle normally. i opened the door, emptied dishes. then, a half hour later the drain pump just turned on despite the door being opened the no water left in the dishwasher. i turned off the power using the breaker for a half hour, filled the sump with a half liter of water to see if it was leaking out, and it wasnt, flipped the breaker on, sump emptied and the pump once again continued to run . i removed the kick plate and didnt see any water on the floor under the dishwasher. Note, i even pressed the "start/cancel" button for 10 seconds and that did not do anything to stop the pump or reset the unit. ***************there is an error code 30 which is identified as a leak or overflow of water has been detected in the bottom of the pan. researching on the web, i have found similar issues with other dishwashers and the advice was to pull the unit out and tip it forward or backward to empty the water from the pan (and on to the floor). the other solution that was posed was to clean out the pressure sensor as it was gummed up with grease. why would the sump drain pump run if there was water in the drip pan? how do i get to and remove the pressure sensor to inspect and clean it? is there a way to inspect the drip for leaked water and use suction to remove it? advice?
  10. I have a Maytag Bravos 580 MVSB300wq2 serial number c12770323. The water would not drain and the pump would not stop running. I performed the following things 1. I did the diagnostic test and recieved the F32 and F72 errors. I pulled the tub out (without the special puller) and the shaft was corroded. I cleaned the shaft and tub bearing and reinstalled. I ran the machine in diagnostic and got through it with "done." 2. I ran a test load. It did the same thing - not pumping water out fully and pump runs and runs LD code. 3. I tipped it up and pulled both pumps and checked for debris or blockage. Both pumps look clean and no blockage. Where in the world do I go from here? Is the Askoll W10281682 pump going bad? How can I tell? Thanks for any and all help. Sincerely, Matt
  11. My LG gas range (LRG3095S) has started to have preheating problems. The temperature on display appears to rise very slowly, and sometimes the oven stops preheating with an 'F11 heat error'. I don't believe there is any issue with the gas supply. While trying a preheat to 400 I found that the temperature was "stuck" at 200 for a while, not rising. I canceled and then immediately restarted a preheat to 400, and the panel displayed 270. I trying to get some insight as to whether this is a sensor or control board issue. Thanks.
  12. I've got a Miele G892 SCU Plus, and I'm getting an F06 error code: Too few pulses at flow meter/start of water intake what pulses? does anyone have a service manual? All i'm finding online is it could be the flowmeter board or the WPS. Is Miele the only source for parts?
  13. Our dishwasher worked fine yesterday and this evening when I went to start it there was a little snowflake icon blinking on it. I looked it up and some people said it had to do with the rinse aid. I checked and the rinse aid wasn't empty but I put some more in anyway and the problem persists. The snowflake icon will blink for a few minutes, then the whole thing shuts off. Any help would be great. Thanks.
