i have spent over 10 hours in testing and replacing all the components (hall effect rotor position sensor, (o.e. part) the sub harness to the hall effect sensor and stator, stator ohms on all 3 legs at 12.5 ohms (5-15 ohms is specific value) the main harness from the computer to the motor (all 3 wires) continuity check. the motor when self tested just jiggles back and forth will not spin or agitate. I get rpm change on the spin by hand test, magnets are all in position and no cracking so its seeing the trigger signal to flip the polarity for clockwise and counter clockwise spin motion. it goes one wat 2 inches and trys to turn over, the drum is free turning as soon as i break power to the coil so nothing is jammed. no grinding (rotor hub good) no scraping, no water stains on bearing, spider coupler is good no noise or play in the main bearings. so then i replace everything in the control circuits (pcm Main, the inline filter, the door switch, the rest works (drain and fill) and all the opertaions are book. HELP PLEASE

New to the forum, tech with 4yrs experience just getting back into the field after 11 years in the military, so playing catch-up on new stuff. On LG refrigerators with the linear compressors with no cooling, I've been consistently reading anywhere between 600-1500 VAC on the CON201 terminals to the compressor, whether the connecter is hooked up or not. Several of my fellow techs have seen this as well. LG says the max VAC output to the comp should be ~180VAC. I've never had any issues with my Fieldpiece meter. Am I doing something wrong or is my meter insufficient for LGs?

Hello can someone advise how to install the door seal properly? The washing machine was leaking water under the door seal. I have replaced it and tested the machine on a wash cycle. It no longer leaks but the seal is rubbing against the drum when it spins. It squeals while spinning, and started smoking and melting the rubber. I re-installed the leaking seal to check how it fit against the drum. There was a gap of 2mm so it did not touch the drum anywhere. The new seal is definitely wider on the section that touches the drum. Does this need to be trimmed before installation? Looking forward to an easy fix! Thanks
