    And it's nuked! This failure took out several traces on the board. Amazingly, the clock was still working but neither bake nor broil worked because the line relay was fried. This range was throwing an F1 error code. F1 on a Frigidaire ranges means a bad control board. Sometimes, it's just a burnt solder joint and can be repaired.     This is what caused the whole problem. A loose connection in the harness connector generated all the heat that burned up the board and took out the thermal fuse on the board supposedly to protect against this type of thing.

  8. Hello All! My mom's A/C recently went haywire. Not sure if this is normal but basically the outside unit spins up fine but inside we don't get any air. For awhile they could turn it off for awhile and turn it back on and it would work for a little. Had an A/C repair tech come in recently telling me the control board is borked... And even showed me a resister seemed to have fallen of?? Unfortunately after going to the parts shop they said the board is discontinued and we would need to replace the whole unit. After doing some research it seems the model i'm looking for is White Rogers 50A52-111 Are there any alternative boards I could use? Or any possible place I could get the part? Thanks a lot!
