    Speed Queen No Spin

Speed Queen (ALLIANCE) Model #AWN542SP111TW01 clothes washer Serial #1208031015 worked fine until yesterday when: 1. The dial suddenly rotated freely whether in or out. Rather difficult engaging the back most part to engage dial selection; 2. Today the unit filled, washed, but would not spin out. Only let out an audible grimace of what sounded like a stuck motor. Removed front panel and all seems fine and free and no odd collections of lint and stuff or grease, etc. That's it. Q. What is wrong here?
  4. I found a bad speed control board, fuse blown and burnt component, and I replaced it. I still have the same problem as the drum will not spin. The machine fills and will pump out but that's it. Door lock works and lite comes on. I found the following when preforming the voltage checks. Pin 1 22 VAC (should be 0) pins 2,6 and 10 are all 120VAC. The results send me to the timer but "it's never the timer." Any suggestions?

Bosch Washing Machine, Oh! Dreaded error 13, Yet, pump-trap is clean. Motor Controller, You are not the needed part, Drains, but forever. My old Victrola, Still plays all of my records, But Bosch? Cannot wash. Well made in Berlin? E-13, no suds within, Shite still will not spin!
  6. Greetings, Working on the above mentioned washer. Fills, agitates, drains, Will not high speed spin. Lid switch tests good. Load size switch/control tests good. Timer bezel plate is NOT slipping and is firmly seated in the key slot. Videos here As you can see from the vids. When trying to spin, the clutch (appears) to engage, the motor spins (outer portion of the clutch doesn't), and the main pulley to the gear-case does not turn. When in agitate mode, the gear-case and motor/clutch work fine. I couldn't get a firm grip on it, but with what little traction I had, I could not manually turn the main pulley. I suspect either the clutch or the gear case. The washer is 15 years old and is a base model. It has a separate (electric) drain pump, and the gear-case is belt driven. The belt does not appear worn and is not slipping. Maybe it's time for a new washer.... Any thoughts, much appreciated.

    MVWC400XW4 no spin

I have this Maytag and it sometimes spins, sometimes not.....mostly not. I have not done the dial self diagnosis because it seems it would be a shift actuator problem. When I look for that part, I find it for different models. Not this one specifically. I am asking because there must be more this grasshopper must learn....
  8. Looking for a service manual and tech sheet on this. I was there and fixed her Whirlpool washer and she has this LG sitting in the garage she said she'd like to fix too. It lights up when you plug it in but I didn't have water access at the time. Opened it up looking for the tech sheet to get into diagnostics but not to be found. It has been unhooked for a while and she couldn't remember exactly what the problem was but she thinks it wouldn't spin. I think I could hook it up to the garden hose and an extension cord in the driveway if I have to to test but not without more info. Thanks in advance.
