I may be missing it but it doesn't look like any of these have the error code list. Please advise. Thanks!

Bosch's service site is offline until tomorrow. Once it's back, I can see if there's a document with the error codes.

What error do you have? Most common issue is a clogged sump/drain pump.

When checking errors through saved error codes test, I have none. But I ran both service tests at the end of the service test set and got E:14.

This customer is having issues where on the auto cycles, it will run about 4-5 minutes and cut off. Obviously not drying the clothes. I tested the moisture sensors and they measure and work properly. Both NTCs measure correctly at room temp and do appear to go up as the heat is applied.

When I instructed the customer to run a timed dry: 1 hour, they said it did run the entire time but did not dry the clothes. It was a small load. Looks like only maybe 2 shirts, 1 pair of pants and a towel.

This is the first one of these I’ve worked on thus far.

Suggestions are appreciated.

E14 is the condensate electrode error (water sensor). This is located on the drain pump. First thing to do is to check for biofilm/lint build up in the sump. Like I said, this is the most common issue as it is maintenance on this machine. Once you know how to do it, it will take less than 30 minutes to complete. Remove 534 and 536, then access the trap door 509. That will expose the sump full for biofilm/lint. The drain pump is in the back left corner and can be removed from the front 512. There’s one T20 screw that holds the cover on and then a clip for the pump. Disconnect the wires and hose. Then you can remove the pump, the manual states to remove the left side panel which isn’t necessary. The pump is removable from the heat exchanger opening. These are very common in my area and I have to do this repair quite often. Never needed a new pump, just clean everything and put back together. Once complete, you can pour water into the sump and start a cycle the drain pump will turn on immediately.

I have added the error code document to this entry:

My drain pump seems to be pumping. If it pumps at all would that still be a possibility? I don't know the rate of flow but it is removing water. Let me know.

Yes. The sensor is sitting in slime and the pump is blocked from draining the water completely. You need it check exactly like I described. You can also run the sensor test and see that the sump is showing its full of water.

@BrianG

I did notice this to be the case when I ran the sensor test. Almost as soon as the “condensate drain test” was done, it was showing HI instead of LO. I will give this a shot and see what we can do.

I appreciate the input on this.
