Maytag Top Load Washer is Loud while Spinning

My Maytag washer is quite loud on the spin cycle. It didn’t used to be that loud. No banging noise or anything but it’s pretty loud. Model number is MVW6230HW1

The best I can describe is a loud constant sound that gets louder as the speed increases. No squealing noise

The fix is a new transmission - the upper bearing, which is sealed into the top of the transmission case has worn out from just cheap manufacturing or the upper main seal, (which also comes with a new transmission), has been letting a little water weep into the bearing - not enough to see leakage on the floor each cycle but damages the upper bearing.
