GE Oven F7 Code

Well I got the dreaded F7 on my GE JTP56WDWW double oven. I attempted to follow the keypad check with an ohmmeter as outlined in the service information sheet inside the oven. The problem here is that I can not get any connectivity through the plastic ribbon cable. I also attempted to follow in the instructions for checking the keypad as outlined in this forum but can not get any key pad to work with the F7 error. I also tried the power off/disconnect ribbon cable/power on test. It has been nearly 20 hours and while I have not got an F7 error, an F0 error occured almost immediately.

At this point I am looking for any suggestions of what else to try before I have to pick up the phone and call someone.

i have replaced many a membrane on ge ovens for stuck keys. you can leave the ribbon disconnected from the board and see if problem persists. if so, replace membrane. if no, then probally in control board.
