dishwasher rack repair

2 posts in this topic

I've got a dishwasher rack that I've repaired before using the vinyl paint kits from appliance parts stores. Now it's to the point that I need to do it again. I've got a can of Rubberize-it plastic coating in the garage. I've read the directions and it claims to be waterproof and heat proof. Would this stuff be okay to use on the rack as a touch up? I hate rusty colored dishes. Thanks.

I don't know about what  you're using, but I went to a lady's home one time and she had used heat shrink tubing and it seemed to work well.
