All Appliantology tech members are invited to join in this workshop on all things Appliantological.
We have a special session planned for this one. Instead of the usual Show 'n Tell on a technical topic, we're going to post tech sheets in the comments to this Calendar Event (scroll down to see what's posted so far) and ask specific questions that can only be answered by reading the tech sheet. If you at least try to answer the questions beforehand, you'll get a lot more out of it. The tech sheet and the questions are posted in the comments section below.
Your mission, if you should choose to accept it, is to check out the questions for each one and try to answer them ahead of time. Then come to the Dojo to see how well you did!
Who: This workshop is only available to tech members at Appliantology.
When: Saturday, April 27 @10:00 AM Eastern Time.
      Where: Online via Zoom
      How:
Click here to go to the forum topic with the registration link. If you're interested, register now. Arrive a couple minutes early to make sure your connection is working. Set a reminder for yourself for this workshop so you don’t miss it.  And check out past workshops here: https://appliantology.org/announcement/33-webinar-recordings-index-page/

Service Manual .pdf file needed for Kenmore HE3t front load washer model 110.4596

We are experiencing various serial communications error electrical fault codes from Fdl to F11.  The washer works normally most days, but recently the fault occurrences are happening more frequently.

From the tremendous amount of useful information found on this web site we understand that most likely our problem stems from poor electrical connections between the CCU and the wiring harnesses that attaches the door switch/lock unit.

We have the highest confidence that we can correct the problem if we obtained a set of electrical schematics and a service repair manual for this unit.  Please send a .pdf file.

Kenmore Elite HE3t Model 110.45972 400 Front Loading Automatic Washer.

Several action items already tried:

Remove the three torx sheet metal screws located in the back of machine allows removal of the top cover, gaining access to the CCU and wiring harnesses.

Checked for broken, frayed, loose, corroded wires and connections.

Thanks in advance for the help, and have a great beer day.

normally we would need the complete model number 110.4596xxxx

but here's the 110.45962400 Tech Sheets

There's not much more info in the Service Manual ...

Any part ordered from RepairClinic can be returned in original condition

within 30 days for a refund (less shipping).

Open the CCU and clean the oxidation off all those connections with alcohol swabs, or a pink eraser. Reseat the harness connectors and take it for a drive.

Do as Samurai instructs, but also, while you have the CCU open and are cleaning the connections as specified, also put a dab of vaseline on each of the connections to keep the oxidation from building up again.

And you really don't need the service manual or to figure this out, it's also not going to tell you or instruct you on opening the CCU, the manufacture would rather you spend a bunch of money and replace it!!!
