Time for a new unit- recommendations?

Recommended Posts

It is now time for a new electric water heater.

previous, now ruptured, unit was an American Standard 50 Gal from the 1997 era.

I am starting the search for a new unit, and was wondering if you ladies and gentlemen had a preferred brand/model.

Thanks

Rob

I don't care for any particular brand, they all are the same, if you get 10 years out of one, you are lucky.

for electric water heaters, there's the Rheem/Richmond Marathon series...

Lifetime seamless, blow-molded polybutylene (plastic) tank and stainless steel element.

$ 1000+up
