Kenmore Gas Oven

4 posts in this topic

I have a built-in Kenmore gas oven Model # 911.3018812  ( I swear that's the number & yes I used a flashlight & checked the number 6 times)  it has an electronic keypad...yesterday when I pushed the button for oven or broiler, nothing happened.  I pushed the cancel button then oven button, nothing.  Played with it for about 30 minutes.  Cold sandwiches for dinner.  Of course the oven time, stop time & clock seem to work just fine.  This morning I am rousted from bed with dogs that are freaking out over something beeping, thought it was a smoke alarm, it was the oven ERC beeping an F-1 error code until I pulled the panel & disconnected the white wire.  I really don't want to spend over $200 to replace the control panel unneccessarily.  Your thoughts?  I'm drinking one of my hubby's Fat Tires awaiting your answer and Thanks in advance.

It looks exactly like this part #530184 and I just wanted to make sure before I spent over $200 for the wrong part.
