In the old forums, there was a tab at the top of the forum view page that said "Recent." You could click it and get page of topics that were either recently added or updated. I used that a lot to keep up with the new stuff and I think many others did, too. I just discovered that this forum has the same feature but done better. It's the "View New Content" link in the upper right hand corner of your screen, underneath the search box. If you click that link, it'll show you all the new stuff
