GE Monogram Range Hood ZV750SY2SS

6 posts in this topic

This range hood is completely dead with no signs of life. Both the PCB and the Display Controller have been bench tested (twice) and shows as completely operational. I'm thinking it doesn't leave much else but possibly a bad wire or connector somewhere. My problem is I'm not 100% up to speed reading wiring diagrams (maybe only 40%) . I have attached a copy of the diagram here that you can view. Any thoughts on what to check for this problem? Many thanks in advance.

Do any of the (4) Hood Lamps work ?

How's the Fuse ?

Did you check for any voltages ?

All hood lamps out. No display lights working. Checked 120vac at CN2 - good. Checked for 12vac at CN4B - good. Checked fuse - good. Checked for continuity in the fuse holder - good. I'm a bit lost where to go.

that's about all there is

Do you need the 31-9043 service manual ?

Thanks I would. I have the tech sheet but maybe the manual has a bit more in it. We know something is responsible for the dead hood. Are there any wires or connectors that you would be suspicious of?
