Help, Grandmother's Kenmore 25370229000 in wall AC just died

Hi, got a call this morning, my grandmother got up to a cooler than usual room, she took a look at the kenmore 25370229000 in wall AC unit she had running and the digital display just showed a 0, she had it set at 71F when she went to bed, the compressor was running and it was blowing out cold air, she said she couldn't get any of the buttons to work, it was like the control panel had locked up, the remote wouldnt' do anything either and she couldn't turn it off, so I asked her to unplug it, hoping it might reset the circuit board inside, left it unplugged for 5 minutes then plugged it back it, now it's completely dead, no display won't turn on, nothing, does anyone think it's the control board that's so expensive for this model, or something else? I could only think of the circuit board, since the fan and compressor was working fine before she unplugged it, any help would be appreciated, it's gonna be a hot day today and she has no AC now.

I took a look at the parts for the model posted and could not find a fuse. The last one I worked on earlier this week I checked for 120 volts between the 2 heavy lines going into the relay on the main board from compressor to L-1. Like I figured i got 120 volts. If the board was functioning correct I would have had 0 volts. If yours is a 240 volt model you ought to get 0 volts, If ya get 240 then ya know the board needs to be replaced. I figured the relay was shot which is usually the case and it was. I bypassed the whole control and last I heard was this ac was heading up to the hunting camp. Makes a dang good walk in redneck cooler.
