Guys,

I'm moving the whole fam damily back to Tennessee, my pre-usmc stompin' grounds. Sooo. I'll have three fridges in the new digs. Since my deer hunting should be alot better in Tennessee than it is here in South Louisiana, and my son is now old enough ans skilled enough to bag a limit along side me, (not to mention turkeys, squirrels, doves, ducks, bass, crappie, blue cats etc) I'd like to try to convert my top-freeze kenmore into all freezer. Possible?

I'm not familiar with your fridge, but would venture to guess it is possible. I run a couple Sundanzer's and they can be switched between fridge / freezer / deep freeze by changing thermostats. The trick would be figuring out how/where to replace the fridge thermostat and getting the appropriate temperature range replacement.

This is assuming there aren't any fancy electronics or other features involved that might be unhappy with the change. Good luck! Hopefully someone else on here can offer more specific advice.

The insulation between the freezer and fresh food section will cause some challenges. Not to mention two outside doors needing to seal .

Why don't you go to the junk yard and do some "shopping"? Should be able to find some nice looking"junk" freezers in need of repair.
