Kenmore Fridge 106.70852990

4 posts in this topic

In 2008 I started a forum in applianceguru about this topic. This fridge has a stuck defrost drain tube. It is a recurring problem. The drain tube on this model is not straight. Is there a way to access the tube? It appears that it is sealed inside the fridge. I have tried a hanger and a solid wire heated with a hair dryer to try to melt any ice. After the ice melts I try to push the wire down and it gets stuck on something. I suspect that this tube takes a right turn. Is this true? Is there anyway to find out?

Thanks
