This workshop is also a great time for any students at Master Samurai Tech to bring any and all questions about the coursework. We're happy to walk through any concepts you're having trouble with. Think of it like office hours with your teachers.
If you have a specific appliance problem you'd like us to talk about, post it here! We need a problem statement and a PDF of the tech sheet or schematic so we can all see it on screen share. If you have a PDF that isn't already in the File library here at Appliantology, send it to us by attaching it to the contact form.
Also, follow this Calendar Event so you'll get notified of new posts here. Look for the "Follow" button either at the top of the topic on desktop or below the topic on mobile.

How much do I sell my GE Triton XL GSD6960J01SS Dishwasher for?

Just replaced my Triton XL (not impressed) with a Bosch today.

It stopped pumping water in but I can't see throwing it away when all it needs is a new pump, hopefully.

So I'm going to put it on Craigslist, full disclosure.

How much is a Triton XL, stainless steel, that needs a pump worth?

Water doesn't get pumped in,

just the House water pressure thriough the Water Inlet Valve

(common problem)

Honestly, I have not been happy with this dishwasher since it was new. This was an excuse to get a better one.

What's a washer needing an inlet valve worth?

The problem may be the control board not sending power to the valve.

Have you verified power to the valve?

I have not. I'm making an assumption because, frankly, I am not interested in keeping the unit and I have better things to do. Can you tell I really hated this machine? :)

If I had one I would tape a $50 to it with a note that reads: "take the 50 only if you take this POS d/w"
