whirlpool washer W102008288 starts agitating too soon, then doesn't fully drain

No matter what type of wash cycle chosen (including soak and pre-wash) when knob is pulled out it starts agitating. Then at the end of final spin cycle, clothes are still soaked. Thanks, Perplexed In Pennsylvania

There is a plastic tube from the tub to the water level switch.

Check this tube carefully,it may be pinched simulating a full tub of water.

my crystal ball says he needs a new load sense switch, just need a model number to tell which version washer he has.
