I was able to barter some parts with a local guy so the re-build is back on!

When removing the seal I had to cut it off and accidentally cut into 3 threads.....so now it needs re-threading

On the tranny treads I count 4 threads per 1/4" so it's 16tpi (thread per inch) but looking for the size in thickness......

I have tried to file it but no luck.

Does anyone out there know the size in with of the shaft?

I put a caliper on it and it reads 1.14" or 28MM can anyone tell me what size die I will need?

Thx!
