Whirlpool Duet GHw9100lw2 - repair help

5 posts in this topic

I have a Whirlpool Duet that I just replaced the tub due to a bearing issue. Now when you start the wash cycle, the tub begins to fill and 3-4 minutes later it stops filling and the error code FH comes up on the display.

I've run diagnostics and it's failing on the c:01 and c:03 codes; all the other six codes pass. I've checked the hot and cold inlet valve for continuity, which it does have, with the valve disconnected. I can't find how to test the flow meter (code c:01).

Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Jim

FH means it's not detecting water flow at the flowmeter. Make sure the hose attached to the flowmeter is still attached to both it and the CCU and is clear of gookus. If it is, then replace the flowmeter ==> http://www.repairclinic.com/PartDetail/Flowmeter/1381535

You may have a hole in the tube that runs from the water level switch to the air dome at the back of the tub.
