LG washer WM2032HW Tromm - LE error code

8 posts in this topic

Two parter.

First Part: LE error code:

Started getting this error code.

first noticed with towel loads and started reducing load size.

now happens all the time.

spins clockwise, but not counter clockwise.

What all necessary to fix?

Second Part: Won't unlock.

Too often it won't unlock.

You hear it trigger 3 times, and sometimes I have to power on/off and time it just right to open the machine.

Not certain if the two are related.

Only other code I have seen is DE.

Follow up question.

Have seeen this issue discussed before and sometimes the Strator is recommended to be replaced.

What is the point when you replace it?

Part of me likes only spending 20, but don't want to end up spending 150 when I could have spent 125.

That stated, it has been having problems spinning towels dry. Is this a function of the sensor or the strator?
