Has this range worked OK up till now at this location ?

Has it been recently converter from / to LP Gas ?

LP Tank low on volume ?

Had one recently, turned out to be the regulator on the LP tank, not the range.

Sounds like the regulator to me. I would use my nanometer to check gas pressure but not to many people have one of those.

Range top burner flames when oven not in use

So the bake "poofing" is a different issue ?
