Goodman HP package pops fuse

I have a Goodmand Heat Pump Package Unit M#GPH1342M41AC unit is about 7 months old. The issues we are having is the 3amp fuse keeps popping. I replace the T-Stat wire from the stat to the unit, to ensure that the fuse was not tripping due to a pinched wire. The unit runs ok for a few days and presto the fuse popped again. Looking on to the tech sheet, the board that the fuse is on has terminals for the low voltage side of the transformer, the other terminals go to the motor, and the no/nc relay power from the line side of the transformer. I have disconnected the white/heat strips, to see if that will trip the fuse again, but an suspecting that the board may be bad. What would cause the fuse to trip over a few days and not right away. If it was a direct short the fuse would blow asap. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Does this happen in heat or cool?

I suspect in the heat mode since you disconnected white.

In heat mode your low voltage components would be contactor,heat strips,and reversing valve while in defrost mode..

Amp each of these components to find out the draw while running normally.

You can jump the board to force a defrost to get the R/V to activate.

I suspect a bad reversing valve over-amping or a short in the R/V wiring.

Update-1st off YOU GUYS ROCK.....thanks for all your feedback, cuz I check it all. The fuse would blow when the unit shut down after a cycle or two, that suspect me to check anything that’s working at the end of the heating cycle. I know the T-stat wire was good, replaced all new. I checked each and every wire in the bundle and found a slit in the pink wire that comes from the HPS to the DFC-board. I also found several pinched wires as well. I also took out the heat strips from the circuit by disconnecting the Molex connector. I replaced the fuse, and let it run for 24 hours. So far so good. Now I going to install the strips back into the circuit and if the fuse blows, Its either the strips, or components and or the DFCB-Goodman says that board was just introduced this summer and this unit may had a early version of the board. Just for shits an giggles , I think I will change the contactor, cheap peace of mind.
