KM(WP) Cabrio 110.28062800 with rusted shaft bearing

2 posts in this topic

To the Dojo,

Went out on this washer to find a square-link gold chain chewed up in the washer (washer clear). While inside the product, I found a three inch rusted spot on the aluminum bearing (upper right in parts on this page: http://appliantology.org/gallery/image/86-cabrio-washer-tub-bearing-and-seal-replacement-kit/); this washer would be a candidate for bearing replacement, right?

Thanks in advance,

Tyrus

Based on your description, probably. A photo of the rust would help. May be able to clean it up. But for the effort, the replacement kit is the way to go.
