Hot water pressure suddenly low

I drained the water heater after I noticed it this morning. I ran the faucets for at least a minute each and the pressure is still low. Is this because there's still air in the pipes?

lets try this

lets say your at the kitchen sink , you turn on the hot and the pressure is low , now turn off the hot and turn on the cold , pressure is normal ?

go to the bathroom sink , turn on the cold , go back to the kitchen sink and turn on the hot , is the hot water pressure even lower than before ?

A buildup in the pipes or in the water heater can reduce pressure over time , not all at once
