Panasonic M/W NNSD297S dead short

5 posts in this topic

All the door switches test good. I even disconnected the short switch to make sure it wasn't an issue and I still popped the fuse. Magnetron not shorted to ground. I pulled the inverter and saw no damage. I Ohmed the CN703 with the magnetron leads disconnected and read continuity/ 0 ohms. This would shunt the magnetron and blow the fuse..yes?

I tested the magnetron from the leads going to the inverter board to ground.  The fuse blows right after I press start to cook. .
