Patricio
A Manual please for this dead unit. Also I've reviewed the parts diagram, it has evaporator motor ac/dc. Can I have an explanation exactly how that works? I see a normal temperature control & defrost timer, don't see how a dc motor would work. Pardon me for my ignorance. RegUS_PatOff
It's a DC Motor with some internal circuitry, maybe just a bridge rectifier, that lets it work on AC.If powered by DC, the power would still go through the respective diodes.
Patricio
Thanks Reggie, is there a mini manual or tech sheet available?

Patricio
Thank you. Refrigerator did not have a manual where I could find it, cold control was turned off. Refrigerator is supposedly brand new in a Brand new 'sit on site RV'. Evaporator & fan were exposed, back wall removed by customer who stated it was running then stopped. After other questions I suspected relay or stuck timer. Spun timer, sounds like it had a dead spot. Turned cold control on, compressor came to life. Spun timer again to defrost & back again to run. Evap fan came on, few minutes later compressor kicked in. Did not have a GE/Frigidaire timer with me, only that Whirlpool timer with the extra wiring. Showed customer how to spin timer if the unit started warming up again to see if it would come to life again & call me. Don't think it is cold control but not eliminating that possibility yet. Not a relay problem.
