Would like to know how to put unit into a manual defrost, and if, any diagnostics are available through dispenser. Thanks

Do a standard wildcard/truncated search of the library and several compatible tech sheets will come up. Tech sheet covers this model (called a dispenser model with very basic temp controls at the dispenser) and encoder models (non dispenser models ie using knobs instead of dispenser temp control) . For full manual download standard gss encoder model manual. No diagnostics at the dispenser controls. Diagnostics at the board or with GE test kit.
