GE Profile diagnostic

Can anyone tell me if Part#  WR49X10095 Is a complete board and wire harness for plugging into GE mother boards on refrigerators to run diagnostics?  I was looking at the parts to build one when the panel superceded to this number.  The description looks like it may be a completed unit for diagnostics for these wonderful machines.

ironically,i just ordered one of those babies up today, may take a while to get it, but will be worth the wait if it helps solve the never ending dillemmas and questionable diagnostic practices currently being used on these fridges, apparently it is the high end model board, also have a harness and another part ordered so you can connect this thing at  the back of the fridge and properly diagnose the systems/board. hope it comes with some technical info.  will let y'all know what its like once it arrives and we figure it out.

Thanks,  my understanding is the harness number is wx05x14999, I was hoping this may have the harness with it.  Let me know when it arrives.

Kdog, do you have the part numbers for the other test pieces you're ordering?

The 3 part numbers others have used to build a test board are wx05x14999, wr55x10120, wr55x10068.  I found this information on the web.  Possible trap from GE to get us to buy a bunch of spare parts!

yes, those are the same parts that i ordered, one is a control board, one is a customer control and one is a harness- not really sure what to expect, but ordered up another batch today, figuring if one is good,2 are better(among 30 technicians!) since nobody in these parts seem to be able to produse any valid service information on these, th local refrigeration guru suggested that i obtain these as a start. these fridges can do some weird, unexplainable things(oh,how a small manual would help)- i'll keep you posted on what comes of the whole dilemma.
