All Appliantology tech members are invited to join in this workshop on all things Appliantological: bidness, customers, tools, troubleshooting, flavorite brewski, whatever. Webcams and microphones are open and live!
This workshop is also a great time for any students at Master Samurai Tech to bring any and all questions about the coursework. We're happy to walk through any concepts you're having trouble with. Think of it like office hours with your teachers.
If you have a specific appliance problem you'd like us to talk about, post it here! We need a problem statement and a PDF of the tech sheet or schematic so we can all see it on screen share. If you have a PDF that isn't already in the File library here at Appliantology, send it to us by attaching it to the contact form.
Also, follow this Calendar Event so you'll get notified of new posts here. Look for the "Follow" button either at the top of the topic on desktop or below the topic on mobile.

Thanks for this link. I am currently getting a MAV7600 ready to sell. When I first got it dumped off in my driveway, it would not agitate or spin, just fill. I replaced the lid switch plunger and now it seems to be working great. I want to run it through a couple more cycles to be sure it's in good working order before I add it to my inventory, though. I am a little concerned because the drum feels stiff and does not spin freely when the machine is empty and off. I ran a load of moving blankets through it just now and it was agitating and spun out great, but I am a bit apprehensive about it. So, I am going to study the tech info here and see what I can learn. Honestly, it had the schematic and timer chart in it when I was working on it a couple months ago, but now it's mixed in with a couple other ones that I was in too much of a hurry to bother writing the model number or inventory number on...so I downloaded this to make sure I had the right one. It's pretty similar to the ones we were troubleshooting in the core troubleshooting course, so I'm comparing the chart to what I see in the components in the console and trying to make that connection to add to the value of having it here at my disposal. The main concern I have is mechanical rather than electrical at this point: should the tub move freely when the machine is idle (off and empty)? Or is that a sign of some impending disaster? I don't want to sell it and then have the customer call back saying it failed. Thanks again!
