Samsung Washer Rattle - WF340ANG/XAC

I have a Samsung WF340ANG/XAC front loading washing machine.  The machine squeaks while operating. If I shake the drum around, I can reproduce the squeaking.  Is it possible that the shock absorbers need grease at the connection points or replacing?

There is also something rattling when the drum is spun around.  I can hear something rattling around when spinning the drum manually.  I posted a video on youtube.  Washer rattling noise outside drum  Is this normal?  My old maytag made a "sloshing" sound which I assumed was liquid to balance the load but I have never heard a rattle before.  Sounds like a loose nut inside the drum assembly but where would that come from?

Samsung sent two repairmen while the machine was under warranty who said they could find nothing wrong with the machine and the squeaking was normal.  The machine is now out of warranty.

Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Could be anything that came out of your pockets or from machine and is now in between tub and wash basket, could even be in one of the baffles, if it gets wedged somewhere in there it could cut through or stop basket from moving.

Would need to pinpoint the squeak. Normally when I run into bad shocks they are rusted or corroded. Disconnect one of the shocks and see if the noise goes away if not reconnect it and disconnect another one. I would replace the shocks apposed to greasing them but since it has made this noise since day one it very well could be the metal cabinet against something else metal or even the springs. Tried to look for service bulliten s for that model but the model number is not pulling up.

Thank for the reply.  Is it possible to access the area between the tub and wash basket by removing the front panel?

Thanks for the reply.  I looked around for something else rubbing but I couldnt see anything.  I will try adding some grease to where the springs attach to the cabinet.

I compared the old shock to a brand new one and didn't feel a big difference in resistence.  There was no sign of corrosion on the old shocks.

No, the wash basket is normally enclosed in the tub, the tub gets split in half to access basket
