GE Refrigerator leaking water from Ice Dispencer

GE Refrigerator Model DFE29JSDASS leaking water from ice dispenser.  I checked for air leaking at dispenser shoot with flash light and all looks good, Checked gasket around door that opens to expose ice maker and gasket looks good and new. The ice bucket could not be removed because it was frozen with ice at bottom, I had to defrost it with hair dryer, cleaned everything up and it is leaking again a week later. How do I activate the ice maker manually to check if water is over flowing ice maker tray or shoot at top? Could it be too much water pressure?, or bad water valve? It has a water valve in lower part of door, and I think it has another on in back of refrigerator.

Thanks for your help, Mark

seems like water valve is either weeping or the fill tube is not aligned correctly, over shooting tray.

From you description, it good chance it is water valve. You need to check and see if the ice maker is over flowing, you will be able to tell by the water fall of ice that is frozen.

This may be a problem with the water valve in the left fresh food door. The part of the valve that supplies water to that icemaker could be stuck open, adding water to the icemaker whenever you dispense a glass of water.

Open the left door and get eyes on that icemaker. press the door switch manually so the dispenser will work, then press the paddle for water. if water enters the icemaker when you call for water, this is your problem.

Thanks for the help guys, but yesterday I noticed that the water supply line on the back of the frig is leaking water, at a 2 way connector, is it possible that this could be letting hot air into the ice maker compartments causing condensation? There is an ice maker in the door and another one in the freezer compartment.

Did you test to see if water enters ice tray when water is dispensed at door as described above?
