KitchenAid Refrigerator Malfunction Model #kbfs25evms00

The inside control panel on my KitchenAid Refrigerator Model kbfs25evms00 is showing that the refrigerator is OFF.  I have followed the manual instruction to turn it back on, with no luck.  The other buttons on the control panel, Max Cool, Max Ice, etc, will not respond when pressed.  The fridge has power but just appears as if it has turned itself off and will not turn back on.  Has the Jazz Board failed?  Things were pretty dirty under and behind the appliance, is there a possibility that it has turned itself off to prevent compressor damage?  please help... Thank you

Your machine doesnt have a "JAZZ" board... it has an H.V. board behind a panel on the back of the unit and a "Utah" display board in the fridge.  A failed start relay or compressor part would not cause the control to turn itself OFF... so, you could have a failed keypad, failed display board, or failed HV board- you need to investigate further to determine which one is responsible. Try unplugging the machine for a five minutes, then trying to get the controls to react to any button
