Cooking range repair!

My cooking range is not working properly. I bought it from an online store in New Jersey about 3 years ago. The warranty has expired and I am in a dilemma whether to repair it or sell it and buy a new one. What if it needs a major repair? What is the normal life of a cooking range?  What if it doesn’t work after the repair? I have approached a repair centre and they have not guaranteed that it will work after the repair.

I think it is better to sell it than going for a repair. But the problem is I don’t have enough money to buy a new one. Even if I exchange this, I don’t think I would get much money for a used appliance. I am planning to avail the credit card services since I don’t have enough money to settle the bill right now.

But is it a good idea? Can someone who has purchased using credit card share your experience? Thanks in advance!

What is the model number, what is the brand?

Any "repair center" that doesn't warranty their work is a sham...
