All Appliantology tech members are invited to join in this workshop on all things Appliantological: bidness, customers, tools, troubleshooting, flavorite brewski, whatever. Webcams and microphones are open and live!
This workshop is also a great time for any students at Master Samurai Tech to bring any and all questions about the coursework. We're happy to walk through any concepts you're having trouble with. Think of it like office hours with your teachers.
If you have a specific appliance problem you'd like us to talk about, post it here! We need a problem statement and a PDF of the tech sheet or schematic so we can all see it on screen share. If you have a PDF that isn't already in the File library here at Appliantology, send it to us by attaching it to the contact form.
Also, follow this Calendar Event so you'll get notified of new posts here. Look for the "Follow" button either at the top of the topic on desktop or below the topic on mobile.
Who: This workshop is only available to tech members at Appliantology.
When: Saturday, March 30 @10:00 AM Eastern Time.
      Where: Online via Zoom
      How:
Click here to go to the forum topic with the registration link. If you're interested, register now. Arrive a couple minutes early to make sure your connection is working. Set a reminder for yourself for this workshop so you don’t miss it.  And check out past workshops here: https://appliantology.org/announcement/33-webinar-recordings-index-page/

Flattening the Forums

You may notice some missing forums. The topics in them aren't gone-- they've been merged into other forums.

There are only three forums in the DIY section now: DIY help, Find a local tech, and Haikus.

There are only 5 forums in the Professional Tech section now. The Bidness Skool, Tool Bag, and War Stories forums were all rolled into the Dojo and the Dojo has been re-actived. It's a single forum for shop talk. Also, the Kitchen and Laundry forums have been merged into a single Appliance Repair Tech Forum for all appliance repair questions.

Over the years, the number of forums grew to where it was getting confusing, even for me! Hopefully the simplification will make it easier to navigate and scroll.

I may do some more flattening. Let me know if you have any thoughts on this.

Keep on those 12 oz barbells, if you start to plump up, upgrade to the 40 oz variety... if you are well plumped already- join a chubby chaser forum and bask in the glory?

I recommend immediately reducing your consumption of soy, plastics, and BPA or this fate awaits you: https://www.prisonplanet.com/study-reveals-science-behind-soy-boys.html

Does this mean I have to be careful about drinking water from the poland springs bottles. Me and my family drink at lest 2 cases of plastic bottled water every two weeks. At least.

It might not do damage in the short run but the chemicals build up in your internal organs for future illness and disease. I drink RO water with Himalayan sea salt added for the minerals and I keep it in a stainless steel or glass container.
