All Appliantology tech members are invited to join in this workshop on all things Appliantological.
We have a special session planned for this one. Instead of the usual Show 'n Tell on a technical topic, we're going to post tech sheets in the comments to this Calendar Event (scroll down to see what's posted so far) and ask specific questions that can only be answered by reading the tech sheet. If you at least try to answer the questions beforehand, you'll get a lot more out of it. The tech sheet and the questions are posted in the comments section below.
Your mission, if you should choose to accept it, is to check out the questions for each one and try to answer them ahead of time. Then come to the Dojo to see how well you did!
Who: This workshop is only available to tech members at Appliantology.
When: Saturday, April 27 @10:00 AM Eastern Time.
      Where: Online via Zoom
      How:
Click here to go to the forum topic with the registration link. If you're interested, register now. Arrive a couple minutes early to make sure your connection is working. Just curious, have you tried the force mode step 1? It turns on all fan motor and force the compressor to run at 100%.

No I didn’t.  Why didn’t I think of that 😬. Thanks. Kicking my own ass.  I should have known that.  Thanks!

Ok just had the same issues. What we did to correct it was rewire the cond fan motor. While speaking to tech line they told us unit was unrepairable. Ref was only 2 years old. We ran wires from the board directly to the fan and customer now has a working ref

What ever happened here.  I have the same problem today.  This is the second Samsung refrigerator giving me the same problem.  I followed all the same steps here.

Hello, I am having the same problem with the evaporator fan motor, 2-3vdc. Did you figure out what the problem was?  Also, is there a way to check the evaporator fan motor, and how do I replace the "main pcb ground?

I had this problem on a fridge I was working on. Before the error btw I had repaired a bad inverter board and main control board. So on its test run after compressor and whole fridge had been warm for over a week the fridge shows this error. It says condenser fan so I go back and see it is off. I have it a flick and it kicked on. This is not the first time this has fixed the issue with fan being off. Sometimes dust can catch it or it just needs a "jump". Hopefully for someone this helps.
