Whirlpool Dryer WGD9600TW1 no heat

I did some testing on this dryer and came back with it needing a control board. Replaced it with a new board about 20-25 days ago and it has been working great.  It showed before replacement F28 moisture sensor and F01 control board. The moisture sensors checked fine while testing.  Now unit is doing the same thing NO HEAT. It shows no fault codes and I haven't went back in to test switches again. I just didn't know if any body have seen this before. Thanks Michael

Does the drum turn when you start the dryer?

Where did you purchase the control board?

Take the kick panel off the unit and try to start it. Does the igniter glow?

This is a gas dryer so I would replace the valve coils (part number 279834) and igniter (part number 27931) for GP if nothing else. They are both cheap enough.

Sometimes when the valve coils are failing they will fire the valve a few times and then not. When you go to get your laundry out its still cold and wet leading you to believe that there is no heat at all.

It's rare that main board is culprit on no heat complaint. It happens but rarely.

Unhook duct from back to eliminate air flow issue. Test.

If fires up but goes out check coils.

If it doesn't fire up check thermostats and cutoffs and Ignitor.

you will be able to check and see if the igniter glows but to test the machine properly you need it connected to gas supply

If you have moved it around, and out of the house, the igniter might be shattered too...
