All Appliantology tech members are invited to join in this workshop on all things Appliantological.
We have a special session planned for this one. Instead of the usual Show 'n Tell on a technical topic, we're going to post tech sheets in the comments to this Calendar Event (scroll down to see what's posted so far) and ask specific questions that can only be answered by reading the tech sheet. If you at least try to answer the questions beforehand, you'll get a lot more out of it. The tech sheet and the questions are posted in the comments section below.
Your mission, if you should choose to accept it, is to check out the questions for each one and try to answer them ahead of time. Then come to the Dojo to see how well you did!
Who: This workshop is only available to tech members at Appliantology.
When: Saturday, April 27 @10:00 AM Eastern Time.
      Where: Online via Zoom
      How:
Click here to go to the forum topic with the registration link. If you're interested, register now. Arrive a couple minutes early to make sure your connection is working. Set a reminder for yourself for this workshop so you don’t miss it.  And check out past workshops here: https://appliantology.org/announcement/33-webinar-recordings-index-page/

Welcome to Appliantology, @whitegoods1! A couple of tips:

  • It's helpful for other members who come along later if you would name your topics something descriptive instead of using your Display name. For example, You could say, "Sears top load washer service manual" or something similar. That way, others coming along later will have a better idea of what this topic is about.
  • This forum, the Appliance Service Manual Requests forum, is for requesting technical literature only. For technical and troubleshooting help, such as what you were asking, you would post this in the Appliance Repair Tech Forum.
  • Take a moment and look at the forum listings on the home page of the site. Read the descriptions for each forum. This tells you what they're for. Once you got, you got it.
  • Watch the help videos on the FAQ page: http://appliantology.org/topic/51337-getting-started-at-appliantology/
  • To get the most out of your membership, come to the next Appliantology Workshop webinar on Oct. 23: https://appliantology.org/calendar/event/822-webinar-appliantology-workshop-using-appliantology-as-your-indispensable-appliance-repair-information-tool/ Appliantology is a powerful information tool with lots of features that aren't obvious to the casual user. We'll give you a live, guided tour in the Workshop.

This washer is the VM washer platform and uses the same tech sheet as this model https://appliantology.org/files/file/1575-maytag-mvwc300xw0-centennial-vm-washer-tech-sheet/

Here's the training manual https://appliantology.org/files/file/26-whirlpool-vertical-modular-washer-vmw-l-84-training-manual/
