This workshop is also a great time for any students at Master Samurai Tech to bring any and all questions about the coursework. We're happy to walk through any concepts you're having trouble with. Think of it like office hours with your teachers.
If you have a specific appliance problem you'd like us to talk about, post it here! We need a problem statement and a PDF of the tech sheet or schematic so we can all see it on screen share. If you have a PDF that isn't already in the File library here at Appliantology, send it to us by attaching it to the contact form.
Also, follow this Calendar Event so you'll get notified of new posts here. Look for the "Follow" button either at the top of the topic on desktop or below the topic on mobile.

Hi yes I posted on this forum before recently but I still need help please

I have a Frigidaire affinity model aeq8000fso

it stopped heating while drying when doing the diagnostics I got the code E5b or E56. So I replaced the thermistor then it worked for a little bit but would stop after a few minutes hearing that is

so then I replaced the heating element with the fuse that is on the panel it work d great for about 2-3 weeks

then it will start tun king and will heat up sometimes other times no but it will shut off after approximately 10 minutes of running the three lights above the start button then start to blink

please help me as I have already put 200 into the dryer with replacement parts thermostat and heating element and silver panel with fuse attached and I am temporarily out of funds trying to catch up on mortgage after being laid off

so any help or troubleshooting would be of great assistance

Have you ever tested it, let it run full cycle, with the exhaust duct unhooked at back of dryer?
