KitchenAid KDTE104DSS1 Dishwasher Circulator Pump

Hello:

My KitchenAid dishwasher was not getting dishes clean.  Took apart and cleaned a good amount of calcium build up out.  Put everything back together, still not working.  I stripped all the insulation off so I could try and determine what was not working.

Can hear it fill with water fin, and pump water out, but circulation pump does not run.

I took apart further, checked pump impeller and it clear and spins freely.

Put everything back together again, still not working...

Any other ways I can test to make sure it's the circulation pump before ordering a new one?

Is it common for the motor to quit on these?

Could it be power not getting to the motor?

Verify voltag to pump when it should be running. You should have  120vac between pin 1 and pin 3 at the motor. If you are receiving voltage and the pump does not spin then bad pump. I change quite a few of these pumps. If there is no power to the pump I would check wiring and test for power again at the control board.

120V AC confirmed after fill cycle complete....so must be a bad motor.  Thank you sir!
