All Appliantology tech members are invited to join in this workshop on all things Appliantological.
We have a special session planned for this one. Instead of the usual Show 'n Tell on a technical topic, we're going to post tech sheets in the comments to this Calendar Event (scroll down to see what's posted so far) and ask specific questions that can only be answered by reading the tech sheet. If you at least try to answer the questions beforehand, you'll get a lot more out of it. The tech sheet and the questions are posted in the comments section below.
Your mission, if you should choose to accept it, is to check out the questions for each one and try to answer them ahead of time. Then come to the Dojo to see how well you did!
Who: This workshop is only available to tech members at Appliantology.
When: Saturday, April 27 @10:00 AM Eastern Time.
      Where: Online via Zoom
      How:
Click here to go to the forum topic with the registration link. If you're interested, register now. Arrive a couple minutes early to make sure your connection is working. Set a reminder for yourself for this workshop so you don’t miss it.  And check out past workshops here: https://appliantology.org/announcement/33-webinar-recordings-index-page/

Only key that responds on UI is the (press 3 sec to lock out console) with an led comes on. Outlet chks OK, power filter in washer pass's 120 vac out.                                                                                     Couldn't get volts at door switch from two blue wires coming from filter. Unless they detoured in the board didn't want to go there. What to do. Thks.

At this point I'm stumped as to which control board to replace I'm looking at the center user interface, after referencing this article.                                                                                                  Any suggestion as to removing a board from a bracket with all the clips are special tools needed? do I pull the main control knob?  thks.

1). Put the washer into the Diagnostic Test Mode per the Tech Sheet........in test mode per tech sheet
2). Did the Right Hand Interface light up? ............yes
3). IF the Right Hand Interface did not light up in Step 2 check for 5 VDC on the UIP3 wire connector coming off of the control board to the Right Hand Interface from (Pin 1 to Pin 2) and from (Pin 1 to Pin 3). dna
4). IF you do not have the 5 VDC then remove the MI3 connector from the Machine Control board. IF the display lights; replace the Motor Control board. IF the display does not light; replace the Machine Control Board. dna
5). IF you do have the 5 VDC then replace the Right Hand User Interface. dna
6). IF the Right Hand Interface does light up. Lock the controls by pressing the control lock button for 3 seconds.........hold 3 sec to lock yes.
7). Once the control has been locked press the power pad. IF the control lock light blinks when the power button is pressed it tells us the power button is sending the output from being pressed to the right hand interface but the right hand interface is not responding and will need to be replaced..........after pressing power button cntrl lock light does not blink & I get the shut down tone Diagnostic Test Mode terminates.
8). IF the control lock light does not blink when the power button is pressed replace the center user interface.

sounds like you may have a motor control board issue. Hard to tell with these, they can be really troublesome.

Thanks Jackson App.

The unit will go thru a complete wash cycle in service mode, a detailed wiring schematic would be very useful.
