Electrolux Steam Dryer control lock stuck

My new Electrolux Perfect Steam Dryer  (EFME617STT) had the Control Lock activated and now it won't unlock. I've tried unplugging it, holding various combinations of buttons, and anything else that seems vaguely relevant and can be found online. All to no avail. Does anyone know how to do a factory reset on these machines, or what magic process will remove the control lock from my machine?

Thanks!

On my whrlpl washer the control unlock is same as the locking procedure hold three seconds. Check your user manuel may be located in lower section of machine may have to take off a cover.

From the user guide:

lock
To lock the controls between cycles, scroll to the lock option and press set. “ ” will be displayed on the panel. To unlock the controls scroll to the lock option and press set. Use this feature to reduce the likelihood of accidental operation by children.

Yeah, the first thing i did was hold the button for 3 seconds. And I read the user guide. When i said i tried everything I literally tried everything. I had to call a service guy who had to call the manufacturer to find the super secret combination of buttons to unlock the control panel. He couldn't even properly remember it after he did it. Not the sort of thing an average home owner would ever be able to sort out on their own, and nothing that was in the owners manual.

Now GrassHoppah you tell me answer, but you say push SET!
