All Appliantology tech members are invited to join in this workshop on all things Appliantological.
We have a special session planned for this one. Instead of the usual Show 'n Tell on a technical topic, we're going to post tech sheets in the comments to this Calendar Event (scroll down to see what's posted so far) and ask specific questions that can only be answered by reading the tech sheet. If you at least try to answer the questions beforehand, you'll get a lot more out of it. The tech sheet and the questions are posted in the comments section below.
Your mission, if you should choose to accept it, is to check out the questions for each one and try to answer them ahead of time. Then come to the Dojo to see how well you did!
Who: This workshop is only available to tech members at Appliantology.
When: Saturday, April 27 @10:00 AM Eastern Time.
      Where: Online via Zoom
      How:
Click here to go to the forum topic with the registration link. If you're interested, register now. Arrive a couple minutes early to make sure your connection is working. Set a reminder for yourself for this workshop so you don’t miss it.  And check out past workshops here: https://appliantology.org/announcement/33-webinar-recordings-index-page/

I got the tech sheet off the box.

Maybe I'm just stupid. But be damned if I can get it into the Ice Maker diagnostic mode.

Sounds like you just had the schematic. Tech sheet shows how to manually cycle both ice makers:

What you just provided for me Scott states entry into Ice Maker Diagnostic Mode as Press ٨ and + temperature pads for up to 10 sec. simultaneously.

I have in my possession the tech sheet I took from the refrigerator itself.  But here's how entry into Ice Maker Diagnostic reads on what I have in my hand now...Press ( shows the little arrow up) and ( shows the little arrow down) temperature pads for up to 10 sec. simultaneously.  See the difference?

I have Service Data Sheet A01544601 right out from under the box. And the kick plate is horrible putting back into place.

Appreciate you my brother.

Follow up to say the tech sheet provided with the refrigerator had the WRONG instructions printed on it. The ice maker (diagnostic key dance) was wrong! The tech sheet above that Scott provided me had the correct key dance. I made notes on the tech sheet and put it back under the box for the next tech...

Wanted to pass this on. I ran a Frigidaire Gallery Refrigerator call yesterday. M# FGHC2331PFCA

I could not get it to go into diagnostics.

The key dance to enter was wrong on both the tech sheet I downloaded and brought with me , and wrong on the tech sheet behind the kick plate.

Instructions said to hold the temperature up and down key pads for 10 secs! WRONG! You have to hold the option up and down key pads for 10 seconds to enter.

This is the second time I've encountered a Frigidaire Refrigerator with wrong tech info...
