This workshop is also a great time for any students at Master Samurai Tech to bring any and all questions about the coursework. We're happy to walk through any concepts you're having trouble with. Think of it like office hours with your teachers.
If you have a specific appliance problem you'd like us to talk about, post it here! We need a problem statement and a PDF of the tech sheet or schematic so we can all see it on screen share. If you have a PDF that isn't already in the File library here at Appliantology, send it to us by attaching it to the contact form.
Also, follow this Calendar Event so you'll get notified of new posts here. Look for the "Follow" button either at the top of the topic on desktop or below the topic on mobile.

it doesnt matter if dryer is on sensor or manual mode

The fast track is in the download section just type in dv48j* and you should find it.

There are 2 centrifugal switchs in the motor. One sends 120 to element and the other tells the board the motor is turning so it will send the other 120v to the motor. The diagram is in the fast track.

I went back and tested the centrifugal switch again before I started replacing boards.

Lower one (on schematic) tests good. the top one (going through the door switch) was unusual.

Unplugged- no continuity (from black wire on pin 7 to neutral at terminal) as soon as I plugged unit in, I was getting continuity. Continued to have continuity through power up and while dryer was running.

I just thought of it now but I didn’t unplug pin 7 and check for continuity to isolate the motor ?‍♂️

Could it it be a board issue or more likely the motor?
